Estyria wins multiple awards

Estyria is GS1 Sync Star

Excellent data instead of product profile

At the ECR (Efficient Consumer Response) day in Vienna on 14 November 2019, our company was awarded the GS1 Sync Star Award. As a new assessment criterion, special emphasis was placed on complete article datasets – which means that all the fields in the product profile must be properly filled in.

It was internal restructuring that led to this success. We used the integration of Semona GmbH into Estyria as an opportunity to get our entire product base into shape and not only meet the requirements of the B2B standard but also incorporate all our product photos.

The advantage for our customers and for us is that providing complete and quality-checked data electronically enables us to do away with the bilateral product profile. We can thus work together more efficiently. Using the GS1 standard means that you can rely on getting data from us that is one hundred percent accurate and we can all save costs. Visit www.gs1.at/ for further details of GS1 Austria, or www.gs1.org/ for general information.

If you have questions about implementation, please contact your Key Account Manager at Estyria, who will be happy to answer any queries to do with GS1.

Estyria – distinguished quality in every sense of the word

The hallmark of Estyria Naturprodukte GmbH is the distinguished quality of its products. And they are distinguished in every sense of the word: recently they were again awarded IFS certification at the highest level. Our IFS Broker has just achieved a new high score (95.25 %). Our IFS scores on the certificates for the Wollsdorf works (98.63 %) and the Paldau works (96.93 %) also speak for themselves. And we are proud that this year we have again been awarded the Gault&Millau seal and the DLG Medal 2020. You can view our collection of certificates here.

Traditional Styrian
stamp press process

While modernity has brought progress in many areas, the traditional Styrian stamp press process is still the best way of making pumpkin seed oil. The main difference between this and other pressing methods is that we work with open roasting pans. At our plant, people check when the pumpkin seeds are perfectly roasted and so will yield the very best oil. This enables our experienced oil millers to produce the pumpkin seed oil that has won more prizes than any other – and which as a result of this type of pressing retains all the natural constituents. The untreated oil is not filtered; the particles that make it cloudy settle naturally when the oil is left to rest.
