Estyria during the coronavirus

summary and outlook

To meet the challenges that the coronavirus presented us with, we put a large number of measures in place and are in the fortunate position of not yet having had a known case of covid-19 in the company.

The measures have included:

  • Setting up a crisis team in early March
  • Developing and putting in place a comprehensive protection strategy for employees, customers and business partners
  • Zoning the entire company into 18 zones
  • Separating shifts
  • Safety measures at all workstations
  • Extensive working from home
  • Increasing work capacities where necessary
  • And many, many more …

We are proud that, as a result of good preparation and discipline, we coped well with the peak of the coronavirus at the start of the year, and we approach the coming months and years confidently and well-equipped.

Our guiding principle at this time is to protect people and ensure basic supplies.

Keep well!

This enables our experienced oil millers to produce the pumpkin seed oil that has won more prizes than any other – and which as a result of this type of pressing retains all the natural constituents. The untreated oil is not filtered; the particles that make it cloudy settle naturally when the oil is left to rest.
