Breaking into a new era.

New, dynamic leadership duo for Steirerkraft.

Since April 2024, Christian Briggl has taken over as the new Managing Director of our company. Together with Martina Hubmann, Christian will form a young, dynamic leadership duo and lead our traditional company into the future with vision.

Christian Briggl enters the exciting food industry with enthusiasm. He emphasizes the importance of unexpected challenges and opportunities: “Things often turn out differently than expected. Healthy food, appreciation for our nature, and social skills will shape the future – and for me, this reflects the corporate culture of Estyria Naturprodukte.”

As a Carinthian in Styria, it is a particularly appealing task for him to advance the company, especially in the area of pumpkin seed oil – the lifeblood of the Styrians.

“Christian’s open manner and charismatic personality immediately convinced us. His positive aura, inspiring ideas, and immense expertise enrich the company. It will be an exciting and inspiring collaboration,” says Martina Hubmann, looking forward to the upcoming cooperation.

Christian Briggl brings extensive experience in brand, partnership, and stakeholder management, which he has developed over many years. In addition to his professional expertise, he also brings a wide network. We are excited about a successful collaboration under the leadership of the new managing directors and are eager to tackle the upcoming projects and challenges with enthusiasm.

Traditional Styrian
stamp press process

While modernity has brought progress in many areas, the traditional Styrian stamp press process is still the best way of making pumpkin seed oil. The main difference between this and other pressing methods is that we work with open roasting pans. At our plant, people check when the pumpkin seeds are perfectly roasted and so will yield the very best oil. This enables our experienced oil millers to produce the pumpkin seed oil that has won more prizes than any other – and which as a result of this type of pressing retains all the natural constituents. The untreated oil is not filtered; the particles that make it cloudy settle naturally when the oil is left to rest.
